Good input from everyone! Thanks guys!

This ski is my baby and been with me for a long time, I'd love to keep it that way.

I know most of this is common sense to you guys and some items I already do, but I'm stuck in my ways and don't want to forget.

Just want to make sure I continue treating her right :D

Consensus seems to be:

- WD40 (inside hull/engine before riding & engine after if large water ingestion)

- Rinse, Rinse, Rinse! (Outside, inside, trailer, car)

- CRC heavy duty corrosion inhibitor (impeller, moving parts, metal that contacts salt water)

- found this Amazon - CRC Corrosion Inhibitor

- Flush (engine water jackets using hose hook up)

I could see spark on mine but when I got one of these

https://www.amazon.com/Thexton-THE404-Spark-Tester/dp/B0002STSBM

I found that it was actually a weak spark that just looked good. It probably wasn't sparking during at high compression when in the engine. I replaced the voltage regulator rectifier and I had nice strong spark. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the only problem for me so I am checking the timing next. But mine is another story.

Feed the rope through a pool noodle (or get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Kwik-Tek-IP-24-Protector-24-Inches/dp/B0000ATYSE/) to help keep it up away from the jet pump area

To piggy back off this piece of advice try looking up shoes for the water with the brand name teva. The ones i have inculded are what i wear they have awsome grip and never hold any water. They are also very light and rugged. Ive had mine for 4 seasons now and still going strong. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0084FM68W/ref=mp_s_a_1_29?qid=1463826474&sr=8-29&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=teva+water+shoes+men

I own a jet ski rental company and we use jet ski carts to move the skis around the shop, to and from the trailer, etc.

Here's an example. Not that expensive and they are well worth it.

I use a couple of frog carabiners and detach the lines completely when I'm riding. They're a little pricy but they're fast and durable.

You could siphon it out. It would take a while but there would be much less work involved.
