Wow! Thanks a lot! Very nice and thorough comparison! By the way, this is a picture of my grip: http://imgur.com/3deTCrg . It's not too clear in this photo, but sometimes I hold my pen a tiny bit higher than that, and as you can already see, part of my index finger contacts the upper silver half. I just included this picture since I didn't really elaborate on how my index finger was contacting the silver portion of the pen. The part of my index that contacts the silver portion is just uncomfortable. I wish that Wacom would have just made the whole pen out of the same black material. I honestly didn't even realize that the silver material was the cause for the annoyance in that part of my index finger; I thought it was just sweat or something, but I tried gripping much lower so that my whole index finger contacted the black material and did not touch the silver material at all, and my index felt much more comfortable and not sticky and stuff. This was just an experiment to confirm if the silver material was actually a problem, though. Yesterday, I wrapped toilet paper around the silver portion, and it feels much better now: http://imgur.com/DD6yTrI . LOL. But the real problem, I think, is the thinness of the pen. I know the 480 pen has a slight curve in it and how its circumference increases from bottom to top and stops increasing around the middle (I think?), but according to your comparison the 470 pen has a similar characteristic (or perhaps I'm misunderstanding you)? Well, I'm not sure. I take it that the 470 pen has different circumferences throughout it and not a consistent circumference? Also, could you try gripping the 470 pen and 480 pen around the middle so that part of your index (your grip is probably different than mine, but I assume a pen would contact your index somehwere around the top portion like my index) touches the 1/5 "BAMBOO" logo of the 470 pen and the silver part of the 480 pen and try moving the pen around for a bit and tell me which is more comfortable (solely based on how that top portion of your index feels)?
Also, what is that white material wrapped around your 470 pen? Does it help you grip the pen? And I asked you to compare the 3 pens, but I'm curious; which tablet do you use (with your 470 pen I assume)?
This is the 470 pen I plan to get if I do get one!: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0070T5LUS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AE6G6TPW3XA9O
I was planning to buy one off of eBay, but mainly Japan sells them, and shipping takes too long, and I don't really want to pay for expedited shipping. I'm also planning to buy an actual pencil along with the 470 pen, so free shipping! This pen is basically the same one as yours, right?
Sorry for the wall of text!
Yes, they both are on amazon.fr
( GK64 / 61 :https://www.amazon.fr/Pilote-ind%C3%A9pendant-Filaire-Tyce-C-Wired/dp/B07T9WC8BF/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=gk64&qid=1566632037&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1 //
GMMK : https://www.amazon.fr/Glorious-Gaming-Race-GMMK-RGB-0857372006358/dp/B01MXUL6D3/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=gmmk&qid=1566632130&s=gateway&sr=8-3
I really prefer the gmmk design, but it his twice as expensive as the gk64, and it also has 25 dollars of shipping, where the gk64 is free shipping.. So the price would be : GMMK : 90€ // GK64 : 36€ )
. Also, are the gateron red switches loud compared to speed ones ? Because it is also a fact that I need to take care of :p
Can't recommend it at all. Material felt cheap and it didn't last long.
http://www.amazon.de/SteelSeries-4HD-Gaming-Mauspad-schwarz/dp/B002J9G5AE/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1463994284&sr=1-2&keywords=steelseries+mousepad
This one is pretty nice. You won't be using the wrist rest anyway (restricts movement) that you'd get with the other one, so all in all you save money and get a more responsive mousepad that will last you longer.
FIX FOR HEAVY WEIGHTED PEN: =============================
Since most of the pen weight is comming from the AAA battery which I'm assuming is an alkaline cell, you probably can reduce pen weight by getting a lighter Lithium Ion battery.
There are two assumptions that I'm making here: pen battery is regular alkaline rechargeable and the voltage is 1.5v. If I'm wrong and it's actually Lithium, voltage could be as high as 3.4V. Someone with a multimeter can check this out. If I buy pad, I'll update.
So, supposing my assumptions are correct, you need to make sure that you have the right voltage before looking for lighter battery as lithium AAA comes in 1.5 and 3.4v. You also need to make sure the lithium AAA is 44mm high because.
Looking into it, I found typical LiIon weight was about 33% to 66% of the weight of the typical NiMH/alkaline ones.
Pack of 5 duracels non-rechargeable alkaline weigh 114g including packaging (home depot). Pack of 5 energizer non-rechargeable Li-Ion weigh 41g (amazon).
duracel alk AAA weight/cell = 18-21g (depending on packaging weight) energizer Li-Ion AAA weight = 5-8g (depends of packaging) rechargeable Lion weight = 9-12g (found on Amazon)
These don't state whether they are rechargeable or not but could be worth it if they don't drain too fast just for the light weight consideration (5-8g 1.5v):
https://www.amazon.ca/Energizer-Ultimate-Lithium-L92BP-4-Battery/dp/B0002DUQDQ
Sunlabz Rechargeable (8-11.3g/cell, 1.2v) https://www.amazon.com/SunLabz-1000mAh-NiMH-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B00J18PFIO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1478843835&sr=8-3&keywords=AAA%2Blithium%2Brechargeable&th=1
Seems to me the lower the capcity, the lighter it's going to be.
YOU'RE WELCOME!
The Magicforce 68 is probably the best budget mech you can go for, worth spending just a little more for it
It looks like you're looking for a USB A-Male to Mini-B cable. Find one of those that is cheap enough for you. I found this one.
I identified it by looking at this: https://www.huiontablet.com/usb-cable-for-huion-graphics-tablet.html so make sure it really is the same as what your tablet takes.

XP-PEN G540 or G430 are the best tablets for osu at the moment.
Something like this? http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Eye-3/dp/B000VTQ3LU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427346144&sr=8-1&keywords=ps3eye
Looks like these, not sure though. Also seems to be an older version.
The Logitech g100s is the cheapest mouse I would consider worth buying.
Icicle here. Everything I until now was incorrect. The actual source for the onii-chan's is a CD from 2006 containing multiple tracks of girls pronouncing "Onii-chan", literally called "おにいちゃんCD" (Onii-chan CD). Here is an amazon link
Also here are all the tracks on the CD: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Oniichan_CD
The one in the beatmap is Track02

Old as fuck.
I'm also looking for a new tablet after I found out the CTL490 is terrible for osu!. I'm currently looking at this and this. I don't like relying on batteries, even if battery pens last for months.
