Dildo: anything with a flared base works. If the dildo has balls, you have to put it in sideways. It's not uncomfortable, but it's not my favourite thing. The other advantage to this is that you can switch out sizes/textures if you want to try something different.
You can get o-rings that will fit the larger sizes, if you want to go wider.
