K-70 is a great camera and honestly Pentax cameras are easier to learn than others.

This guy writes E-Books for Pentax and I got one for my K50 and it helped a lot.

What color did you get?

I know the feeling. When I bought my K200D it seemed like a ton of money and forever before it arrived.

As soon as you can start using the AF-200 and see what it does and doesnt do to images. Then get on the Strobist and learn what you can do with off camera flash. If you really want to get into that kind of photography it is extremely rewarding. You create light that doesnt exist. Read "The moment it clicks" and "Hot Shoe Diaries" and be prepared to be addicted. When you are ready to take the plunge, go to Gadget Infinity and check out the Cactus RF60 can do.

There are lots of photography videos on YT for beginners and plenty of good books and I can recommend this one. The make of camera should not make any difference as they all have the same basic functions.

The K70 is a great camera as I have the same model bought it a few years ago and it's pretty damn good.

I'm not looking to gouge anybody. I provided links for each item to substantiate where I got that price from, mostly the "Average Price" cited in the PentaxForums review, where I could find it.

That said, it does look like the trend on the Sigma 10-20 was downward where their graph leaves off two years ago. Amazon lists it today at $245 for "Acceptable", $417 for "Very Good"; this copy is somewhere between those, probably a bit closer to the low side.

If you've got an interest, make me an offer. Getting something reasonable is better than nothing.

Edit - fix a link

What are you going to be using it for. I just bought a cheap one to start out with and it has done great for me so far. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001D60LG8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071SLM8R9/ref=dra_a_rv_bb_ho_xx_P1400_1000?psc=1 Amazon has this offer right now, if I was looking to get into Pentax this would be worth it.

When putting my k-5 in a bigger pack, I use a domke 19" wrap . Flexible with different lenses. Not perfect but it works, is light, and gets out of the way when not in use.

And finally I just saw three Sigma 12-24 DG lenses pop up on ebay last week for somewhere around $400 I believe.

DA 12-24 is also usable from 18-24 and there's more than one for sale on PentaxForums

The K-1 and the Sigma 12-24 f/4.5-5.6 would be around $2600, almost exactly what the D750 and the Tokina 16-28 f/2.8 would cost.

KatzEye used to make high quality split prism focusing screens but they closed down unfortunately.

You can still find some cheap ones on ebay.

Also, consider getting the magnifying eyepiece as well.
