Like others said, the 100 and 110 courseware is a good start.

Here's another one. Very good, and unlike the courseware it is post-production specific. It was part of an Advanced Post Production class I took.

What tonyorlando said, you can get the book for about 30$. well worth the money if that's the info you are looking for.

It's easy to learn. trust me.

You can probably try to find an Mbox Micro. If it's just editing, and no recording this would probably be pretty good.

I have a hillbilly modem and it works just fine. I don't know what you people are going on about. 28.8k all day baby.

The only problem is you need the USB to RJ-11 adapter

Edit. Wait, I think a hillbilly modem is only 9600 baud so mine doesn't qualify.
