I own an S6. I really love the phone. Battery lasts me most days, but sometimes I have to charge it. For example, today at 2:30 I'm at 80%, from starting my day at 7am. I just picked up a wireless charger for my desk to make that a non-issue.
I also picked up a Spigen Neo Hytbrid case that looks awesome and protects the phone.
Samsung have so many features over stock Android I could never go back to vanilla Android.
Phones: iPhone 3, HTC Desire, S4, S6. I sold my S4 for $200 making the S6 free.
I have this one from iOttie. I have not had to readjust the mounting and the phone is held securely. Easy to place phone in mount with one hand.

Its similar to what you wanted and has a clear back, this with a screen protector has kepy my S6 safe for nearly two years.
Same problem here.
I stopped buying USB cables and picked up a couple of wireless pads from Amazon.
