(Part 2) Top products from r/skylanders

You've got everything you need to enjoy the game for now. I just want to reassure you of that. :)

For the first games, you'll want to mainly keep an eye out for the Darklight Crypt set from Spyro's Adventure. This is the hardest to find of all the expansion sets, and the figure included with it (Ghostroaster) is also very hard to find (also the magic items). I still see the other three Spyro's Adventure expansions at TRUs across my state, so I don't feel that these are rare enough to draw your attention to them.

As for the games themselves, I highly recommend that you buy the Wii U version of Swap Force (the Wii version is incredibly buggy); the Wii version of Giants (the Wii U version is buggy); and of course there's only the Wii version of Spyro's Adventure. You'll have to buy a portal with both Spyro's Adventure and Swap Force since they didn't offer a "Portal Owner's Pack" like they did Giants.

Before you get too deep into buying up the old stuff though, I highly recommend that you make a plan-of-attack. Look through which figures are packaged in triple packs, which are reposed, which have Lightcore variants, etc. You can always go to an amazon page and see what figures are grouped together quite easily. The reason I suggest doing this plan-of-attack is that you'll avoid duplicates (unless you're interested in dupes).

Answer a few questions for yourself (and your answers may change over time - mine did):

• Do you want reposes and original figures? or just reposes? or just some run of the character?
  
  
• Do you want variants? (e.g. Gnarly Tree Rex; Series 1 Dark Spyro and Series 3 Dark Spyro)
  
  
• Do you want your figures new or is used acceptable?
  
  
• Do you want every Magic Item and extra level? Do you want the variants of these?
  
  Your answers can help guide you in what you want to collect. Your plan-of-attack will help ensure that you don't get something you're not interested in.

They hold about 5 amiibo per level, 6 on the bottom (the actual glass shelf). So depending on the skylander, you could probably fit around 5 to 6.

Maybe you can get her a Whirlwind figure if breeze is her favorite and explain that breeze isn't out yet (Breeze is a mini of whirlwind). Even if it's not her favorite it might be nice. Looks like you can pick up the original Whirlwind for 5.99 on Amazon, it's a Spyro's Adventure figure which will work with all the skylander's games.

Spyro the Dragon is my favorite video game series of all time (both the classic, legend of Spyro series, and I guess if you count the first Skylanders game) so I collected all the spyro characters lol

we have the same problem we like to use my live profile to keep the progress. So we just use this privacy attachment when we play this.

The dragon fly was a magic item that you can't control, in my short search I couldn't find him loose on Amazon.

Keep in mind there are other sites/poses for spyro and cynder. Do you know which game they have?

You CAN, but you'll need swap figures for the game. Since both Swap force & Trap Team are under $20 each, I'd buy both plug in the Trap portal and play them in order.
