believe it or not, the first one is what i use more. 90% of the time if i can get my hand on the filter, i can get that wrench on there... and with way more leverage and grip than my bare hand, if i cant get it off, it was put on WAYYY too tight.

that i got from god knows where. its nice for when the one that caught your eye is too small for the real big filters. kind of cumbersome getting it all wrapped up and tight when you are on your back tho. better than nothing, that's for sure!

The Swing-A-Way that is in the picture is the best I've found. I've had mine for 14+ years and it still outperforms any new one I've tried at other peoples houses. And they are very affordable too.

I have a set from Irwin, and absolutely love them. A little over 3 years abusing them and the button has no issues. I’ve tried the V jaw ones but I’m not a fan, the straight jaw is my preference.

Edit: maybe this is what the above comment is talking about. The idea looks the same as Irwin’s plier. Not sure who was first or which one is better.
