EDIT: Making a new post with pictures and details to show off the box.

I've been using these side-by-side double deck boxes from Monster https://www.amazon.com/Monster-Protectors-Trading-Self-locking-Magnetic/dp/B005VL3H08 for my Magic draft kit (1 side holds lands and tokens, the other hold sleeves and draft/sealed pool) and they work great.

I find that the Monster dual deck boxes are a little nicer than the UltraPro boxes, and are laid out with the decks side-by-side, rather than front to back, which makes them easier to tuck into a hoodie pocket or a messenger/shoulder bag. Also, each 'side' of the box is removable, which I find to be very convenient... and it lets you mix & match interior / exterior colors if you want :)

Tested the box with Destiny earlier tonight at the FFG event, and each 'half' of the deck box perfectly fits up to 24 Destiny dice (4 layers deep at 6 dice per layer).

One of these boxes would perfectly hold a sleeved destiny deck, some spare sleeves, extra characters and battlefields, and all the dice you need. there is even room left over to throw your tokens in a small dice bag and tuck it in with the dice.

You can see me filling out some binders in this way here:

I use the following products:

I can fit one deck and assorted dice in this tower, its great. Bottom detaches to put 9 dice in, and then dice can fit up top with the cards as well.

I use these for Netrunner and they hold up very well: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AXDBDK0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Sleeved my SWDestiny cards in them as well and they fit perfectly.

I've shipped a full collection in multiple 800 card boxes (see https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FO802R4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_d30UzbSG4XTXN for an example) with no problems. Mine were sleeved with penny sleeves so that helps protect them but isn't required. The main thing is to make sure the boxes are full enough that cards have limited movement inside. I put a little bubble wrap around them as well.

For dice, I received a Destiny collection by mail and the dice fit nicely in small bubble wrap bags or, alternatively, in zip lock bags with a layer of bubble wrap around them. Again the goal is to fill the bags so there's little room for the dice to bounce around.

I keep mine in [these four ring binders] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00191RJWQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522591555&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=four+ring+binder&dpPl=1&dpID=41NHKEjqgJL&ref=plSrch). They're not as bulky and unwieldy as the ones sold by ultra pro and the like specifically for card games and one is the perfect size for an entire cycle of Destiny (which is convenient as I can just put a binder away when it rotates out) so right now I have one for Awakenings/Spirit/Empire and one for Legacies. In the binders I have them organised by colour first, then faction, then set. Never attempt to organise by cost or anything like that as you'll constantly be reorganising as new cards are released.

I have dice organised in plastic boxes, one for each set.

If you are looking for cheap some combination of small Plano and any deckbox should work.

A BCW 200 Count Box should be about a $1 at your FLGS.

The Plano 3400 5 Compartment Stowaway will hold 20 dice almost perfectly and should be about $2.50 at a Walmart. The Plano 3400 should also be good for Tokens although I use the smaller and slightly more expensive 3448-40 for tokens.

I have one Plano per deck and lined them with a small piece of craft foam in each compartment and one large piece over the top just to keep the dice from rattling around and getting scratched in my bag.

Probably not the best for taking a single deck to a tournament or storing the whole first set, but not bad for now. I used a KMC Card Barrier Box, available on Amazon and typically shipped out of Japan for about $15.

I cut the interior dice trays out of 2x starter sets to fit the larger container openings:

There is room for another 40'ish dice below the trays. Lots of room for 2x decks and the rest of your cards:

Looking forward to see what other people come up with whether it be tackle boxes, laser etched build-a-box, or something else. Thanks for checking it out!

Here is the carrier with a bunch of individual 4 x 6 deck boxes inside.

There are two sizes for these. The smaller one, shown in the link above, is perfect for a deck and the associated dice. The larger version here is for storing large amounts of dice. Don't ask me how many, I never really counted.

u/Gamer_2k4 · 2 pointsr/swdestiny

Very cool. I find the Flambeau 5007 Tuff Tainer to be a great, compact way to store dice, but I can't deny the appeal of this. Good find.

The Ultra Pro Tower is probably what you're looking for.

The Ultra Pro M2 or the Ultimate Guard Flip are also a good option. If you have 12 or less dice and don't mind having your tokens separate, you can use a cheapy plastic deck box.

FFGC was selling these the other week. I really like it for carrying 2 decks, dice and tokens.

for storage, we have been using one of these, but it has gotten a little small now.

I use this tackle box. Cheap, carries about 180 dice altogether, see thru so you don't need to open it if you don't want. Reasonably sturdy plastic, although i think the latches could be a bit better, but I still haven't broken one yet. Stacks well. Bought one for each color and I just now ran out of room once legacies came out, so it seems to get roughly a full Block out of 3 of them.

u/ewkinder · 2 pointsr/swdestiny

I'm going to try this. Hit me up in a week and I can let you know how it goes.

Why not just get something to hold the lid on the box you have? I presume you're mostly worried about securing the lid during transport and not holding the lid on while you're playing.

You could try some file bands or if you're worried about that wearing on the wood, just get some stretchy hair bands from walmart/target/dollar store.
