Like others said the blazer gt8000 though an amazing torch if you like dabbing but flame too strong even when hardly one

I suggest either a good cigar lighter like Colibri EVO it last super long for me and i never had an issue when using good fuel, it lights everytime

Or if you want to stay with blazer maybe try there firefox might work better your probably need to hold it farther away.but i never used it personally

u/arrjaytea · 1 pointr/vaporents

For cheap guys, I have two of these in my tackle / camping bags at all times. The flame is small enough to actually avoid the wind but not too small for a VapCap.

Ascent Single Jet Torch Flame Cigar and Cigarette Lighter Warranty Green https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KIWYPHI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_T7bZzbMRR2RZD

I keep one of these at the cottage to use outside. The angle is nice, and it’s one of the most reliable lighters I’ve ever owned. Definitely not as pocketable.

Scorch Torch Matador Single Jet Flame Butane Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OC00ESC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_J9bZzb604PTJ9

But in reality the best pocket torch for a VapCap I’ve ever owned is the Honest Torch (probably easier to get from PIU than Amazon).

Gogil 1Pcs HONEST 1300'C Butane Jet Lighter Torch Random Color NO GAS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074W5HYTR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_--bZzbP2N8GK2

Fits in the pocket and shockingly reliable.

Important to note: properly purging any of these before filling is crucial to reliability. Allowing air in the lines is a fast way to making any butane torch super susceptible to wind.

u/Improvaper · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I used to recommend others, but this is my new fav. Super super easy to use and reliable. Huge tank. A tested classic. Winner.

Eagle Jet Gun Torch Lighter Windproof Refillable Lighter (Blue) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IROKNMA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_R54vDb1ABR2WA

u/paperclouds412 · 2 pointsr/vaporents

The Blazer Firefox.

This is only for home use and super powerful, almost too much, but works great once you dial it in. The igniting and locking mechanism is actually really nice once you get the hand motion down.

My favorites, if I could only buy one it would be the Vapman:

Best price point/quality-Xing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L82BU80/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Favorite at home, best ergonomics and striker is an easy thumb slide instead of awkward button depress . Smallish tank is only con. Largest of list- Scorch Torch(comparable to Zico) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OC00ESC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Vapman lighter has an outstanding reputation on FC, a large tank, smaller stature than Zico/ScorchTorch. It's my go to travel lighter- Vapman http://infinityvm.com/lighters-etc/

u/fablemaster · 1 pointr/vaporents

I have a small 2 piece titanium space case that works perfectly, here's an amazon link for $23, you may be able to find it a little cheaper on ebay, but thats about what I payed for mine back when I got it.

Even though its small, for vaping it works perfectly, I can easily grind up 5 vape packs at once, and it grinds everything really nicely.

u/Doobitron · 2 pointsr/vaporents

Your vapor path is probably clogged. Your unit is getting hot because it's either clogged and you can't remove the vapor and heat that's being produced, or, it's getting hot because you didnt pack it tight enough and the heater is being over worked.

https://www.amazon.com/Zen-Bundles-Cleaners-Bristle-Count/dp/B000W5R6UA

I use those to clean all my vapes. Remove the mouthpiece. Dip one in 90% iso and stick it through the vapor path holding the unit upside down. Any excess alcohol will drip down the pipe cleaner and get absorbed or drip to the floor. You dont want to risk alcohol getting underneath the silicone and getting into your electricals. The pipe cleaner will pop out the screen and you can scrub that down. Then run the pipe cleaner back and forth while twisting to get a good scrub in the vapor path. I usually have to use two pipe cleaners to get the vapor path clean. A clean pax is a happy pax.

u/Dicket · 1 pointr/vaporents

haha glad I could help.

1 last piece of advice: Get a butane lighter. You don't need to get a full on torch, something like this will work just fine. Vapcaps work a lot better with a butane lighter than they do with a standard bic or zippo.

Oh, and the lower on the cap you apply the heat, the hotter the chamber gets and the more vapor is produced.

Happy toking!

u/blobcat123 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Honestly man, if you're a fan of ultralight, go for a 2 Piece. Take it from a marketing student, SCC's prices come from the fact that they market really well. They really aren't worth that much, you're paying to be a part of a "scene". Space Case has some reputable grinders. The grind isn't as picture perfect as SCC, but the fluff factor is still very present, and accomplishes the same goal. Much cheaper too.

On the other hand, if you're buying a Dynavap, I could think of an ultra-portable scenario. Those pill bottle grinders would work very well to stash your lighter, VapCap, and material. If you have to, you can ditch anything incriminating in one swoop.

u/jdunnbellinger · 1 pointr/vaporents

If you have a zippo, you can get a butane torch insert. I have this one ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JXF7KW4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jWuBzbM7T7ZED ) but there are other brands as well on Amazon.
It has served me very well, lasted about a year so far. I fill it up maybe once every week or week and a half with fairly regular use. The flame isn't the biggest or the hottest, but I really love mine.

u/fn0000rd · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I wonder if there’s a torch that’s good enough and small enough to fit into a third hole....

[edit] it looks like the Aomai would, and people seem to really like them:

https://www.amazon.com/Lighter-Grinding-Butane-Windproof-Cigarette/dp/B01LJBINES

They’re <$3 from China, too. That’d make for a sweet stashbox, imho.

u/Skip4play · 2 pointsr/vaporents

Dont know if its the best but its been working great for me. It does have a little window on the side to check gas levels.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OC00ESC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/Kairbear · 1 pointr/vaporents

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G9GWANE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I got this a lil over a month ago for my dynavaps, its quckly become one of my favorite torches. Decent size tank for how compact it is, very comfortable to use. 2 small double flames allow for good heat penetration with very even distribution. The 2 drawbacks it has is no visible tank level and it doesn't work real well with the flame inverted(heating up from underneath.)

u/larrybobinski · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I currently have Arizer Air and Arizer Air II. I am primarily looking for a battery replacement and a rechargable battery dock. I researched all over the place and learned these batteries (if legit) are good:

Authentic 4-Pack 2500mAh High Drain ICR LG HE2 3.6V 18650 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery 20A Continuous Discharge (Max 35A Current Load) Flat Top https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L08WAF8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_bdNZAbGCEGNAY

And I thought a Nitecore i4 would work (Nitecore New i4 2016 Intellicharger Smart Battery Charger for Li-ion IMR Ni-MH NiCd https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KBFZDI8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_BkNZAb4CH3YA7)

But the thing is, everyone keeps roasting another person’s preference and at this point I really don’t know which battery/charger combo works well. Could you see and tell if these would work with Arizer Air?

u/data_eater · 1 pointr/vaporents

thats good to know. today i am also going to utilize cranberry extract---so im interested to see how long before i have to clean my piece.

u/bubblebuddy26 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Thanks, I saw this grinder and it seems pretty cheap but good quality. What do you think of it?

u/lord_dentaku · 3 pointsr/vaporents

Eagle torches are cheap and have a lock that will keep the torch on. You can light it using your index and lock it with your thumb then set it down on the table. They make a large model that has a cylinder shaped tank that I have two of and they work great.

The ones I have look like this

Appears to be a new model Can't speak for the quality of the new model.

u/mdh_4783 · 1 pointr/vaporents

It was recommended to my by a couple of very experienced members of the sub. I was initially confused as well by the number of options. The exact one that I purchased was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IROKNMA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

Also have an Aomai like this one that works very well.

https://www.amazon.com/Piioket-Cigarette-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable/dp/B017UV66KY/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=aomai+lighter&qid=1573244213&sr=8-16

u/te-fod · 1 pointr/vaporents

With vaporisers like the dynavap M or a sticky brick, ones that are typically called battery free or butane powered vapes they use a lighter like this

You can use a normal lighter with the M but I wouldn’t recommend it, they produce a lot more soot

u/Drama_Derp · 2 pointsr/vaporents

It's a conduction vape so fine grind and surface area are what you are looking for.

I use the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder, Newvapes 3d screen and Pax Pusher with Vented Lid.

Smell proof bags from ID are good to have, however a large Mason Jar for all your wares is ideal if you are trying to stay stealth where you are.

u/Anonymous_Eponymous · 1 pointr/vaporents

I just got this lighter. So far, I really like it, and it seems to be much better quality than I'd expect for $12. I've been using Colibri butane because it's what I've got.

u/kemplaz · 4 pointsr/vaporents

I've had good luck with this one so far, I've gone through about a dozen since I got my dynavap M and the Ronson is the only one that's been reliable beside a cheap slick. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007D50SSE/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1493824827&sr=8-2&keywords=ronson+lighter

u/RobDogg93 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Saw a space case puck style grinder on Amazon for 19.99. I have this same grinder. Does a great job for my vapes. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004G3PM3W/ref=psdcmw_289781_t3_B004G3PMAU

u/OCDecaf · 1 pointr/vaporents

Checking it out now. Thank you so much

Shit this looks so much better

Thinking I’m gonna get this one Nitecore New i4 2016 Intellicharger Smart Battery Charger for Li-ion IMR Ni-MH NiCd https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KBFZDI8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6TKPBb69DVQNK

u/A-Void-Dance · 3 pointsr/vaporents

A regular lighter will leave soot and won't heat the cap very fast.

You are better off using a refillable torch lighter like THIS or THIS and using butane to refill it when it's out

u/HeadieVedder · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I just picked up one of these. It works awesomely and the grip on it is great. You can always hold grinders upside down if the product isn't ground enough for you.

u/Alyrian00 · 1 pointr/vaporents

One of these: https://www.amazon.com/Dental-Power-Infrared-Electronic-Induction/dp/B0114AD8TO they work well it does 5 clicks or so before it goes into some sleep mode and u just gonna remove the vapcap out of the center and put it back in and usually it clicks about a second after. It is because it is made for some dental tool but it works very well. I got mine cheaper when I bought mine.

u/LiarWithTheAce · 1 pointr/vaporents

Scorch Torch Dual Flame great lighter, I've had it for about 2 weeks and have had no problems so far refilling it or with it lighting consistently.

If anyone does buy that lighter though make sure you use a small nail or screwdriver to depressurize it right when you get it, and before trying to fill or use it. Otherwise you'll defect the lighter like I did with the first one I got, luckily they come with a life-time warranty when bought from amazon or ebay so after a few messages back and forth to customer service I was able to get a new one sent to me to replace the defective one.

u/DirtyJesus1 · 1 pointr/vaporents

I was in your position 6 years ago when I first started smoking and all I wanted was something cheap to get by. So I bought this. And I ended up with a 100% reliable, durable, and convenient grinder. I had to buy a new one this year, though, because my buddy lost mine when I lent it to him. Over 5 years with 0 complaints and I only paid $4.69 USD at the time. Instantly bought a new one after the first got lost and still, no regrets. It holds up to every standard 4-Piece grinder I've ever used or been around. It won't give you a super fine grind and the finish fades after a year or so, but for <10$ and years of use, it is the best bargain buy I have ever encountered

u/tarzan_boy · 1 pointr/vaporents

91% is typically sold at Rite Aid and CVS (these store are in the Northeast US)

I purchase 99% to clean my glass off of Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B5JT8C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3KB7XYG03LIW1

u/vaporman2084 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Arc lighters usually just light paper from a spark. There is no flame. I think you should look for a torch instead.

I have this one

A 3 flame torch like this is recommended.

u/ZuesAgeddon · 4 pointsr/vaporents

You can get a torch insert for your Zippo. I've been thinking of one since I have a cool Zippo cover but I haven't done much research yet to see if they work well, here is one on Amazon

u/awghost5 · 3 pointsr/vaporents

I just got one of the Chinese SJK infrared/induction heater. I'm not remotely mechanically inclined so I don't trust myself to build my own. At least, not without adult supervision... I was considering getting one from Pipes or other folks on FC, but they were all out of my budget.

It's been a game changer for me. I don't have to spin the dynavap for the bowl to heat evenly and I don't run the risk of setting my house on fire if I want to use my vape in bed. Also I find it... Fun to use? (Is that weird? It's probably weird.)

I don't know what other folks' experience has been. I can only speak for myself.

Anyway... Do with that info what you will.

u/startingoveragainst · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I have this one and I really like it.

u/temporarycreature · 1 pointr/vaporents

I just bought mine a few weeks ago, and it makes huge difference.

I recommend the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder

u/bostonthrowaway7721 · 2 pointsr/vaporents

Blazer is handy for home use.

clipper makes a jet torch now, which is good for on the go and also historic / classy as shit: clipper

u/shadowh511 · 1 pointr/vaporents

Basically it's a grinder that gets an incredibly fine grind as a result. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Flight-Finishing-Grinder-Walnut/dp/B00GNKFOTI

u/maddamadda · 1 pointr/vaporents

What about this one? Scorch Torch Orion Double Jet Flame Flip Top Cigar Torch Lighter (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G9GSMCW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_u1adzbXJQ3717

u/CarouselOnFire · 1 pointr/vaporents

Isopropyl alcohol

heres an Amazon link however, it is MUCH cheaper to purchase from any pharmacy or grocery store. It's in the first aid section

u/robsquad · 0 pointsr/vaporents

While you'll never get it all off, you can get most of it. I use 91% ISO, as I find it a bit more aggressive than the ~70% variant. Take the screen out and hold it Mouthpiece up, and then scrub the inside with an ISO dampened Q-tip. Then, use the pipe cleaners that have the little hard bristles stemming out from them. Fold it in half, and dip the folded end in the ISO. Use that as a makeshift "wire brush" to get the remaining browning off. While those pipe cleaners come with the Pax, you can find them here as well.

u/lookatmeglow · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I would suggest going to a cigar shop and picking up some. I have found a pack of 30 for $1. I have heard some people use a paperclip, but you might scratch the oven or vapor path.

https://www.amazon.com/Bundles-Zen-Pipe-Cleaners-Bristle/dp/B000W5R6UA

I use these and haven't had to buy any in months.

u/ssup3rm4n · 2 pointsr/vaporents

You can buy the insert that goes in it for under 10 bucks on amazon

u/PS420Ninja · 1 pointr/vaporents

Scorch Torch Tactical Ergonomic Angle Double Jet Flame Torch Cigarette Cigar Lighter w/ Keychain and Strap (Gunmetal) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G9GWANE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_GUdJuJJ5KteWn

u/VaporizerWizard · 2 pointsr/vaporents

This - I was tipped off by T-Dub on FC that this is the primary ingredient in Rezblock so I have been using it in my glass for the last few months, and just a few drops really reduces cleaning.

u/jamespweb · 3 pointsr/vaporents

Link!
When I first got it the built quality didn't seem that great since I've been using otterbox/pelican cases for a while, but I'll be damned it lives up to the smell proof claims. I can fit the charger, at least 1.5g's of ground bud(the container they gave was a flip top cap and leaked a bit smell, I replaced it with a screw top container that I got from an acrylic paint set that holds the smell in more)

u/EnragedSpoon · 2 pointsr/vaporents

Here's the link to the clipper lighter, and the zippo insert. Two minor complaints I already have about the clipper compared to the zippo is that it seems to get much hotter, and you can't see the fuel level. One person also mentioned that pocket lint got into the lighter hole in the clipper and messed with the flame but I haven't experienced that

u/kent1146 · 12 pointsr/vaporents

This is my induction heater.

I got the idea because I thought that some of the colors and textures in this (dark wood, glass, copper coiled wire, metal) reminded me of an olde-tyme'y "Edison lab" or "steampunk" theme.

u/majinalchemy · 2 pointsr/vaporents

I got this guy for my hopper today and it's amazing. Have 3 bats charging right now, and it says the % charge on each. To the OP, my least favorite thing before I got the charger was that even if plugged in charging a dead battery, the hopper wouldn't work until it had charged a long time.
