OK so my favorite accessory is, by far, the garage door opener and sensor system. It closes my door automatically at night if I forget and leave it open, and sends me notifications when it's left open during the day. Plus as I have the lights controlled, it turns on my main garage lights when I come home at night. https://www.amazon.com/GoControl-Linear-GD00Z-4-Z-Wave-Controller/dp/B00M75TEIU

Secondly, I know it's not a switch but I also love the Schlage connect lock. This was the first "smart" device I ever got, well before I had Wink. It's amazing as with remote start cars, and this, I now never have to touch my keys, and it works great for letting people in with temporary codes when you're on vacation. Plus when I go for a run I don't have to carry my keys. It integrates fantastically with Wink letting you set codes, lock door, change settings, etc. I actually only bought the Wink hub because of it since I wanted an easier way to program/control it (well, that and the fact that when Quirky went under Meijer was selling the hub for $5 and the controlled power strips for $10. No lie.) https://www.amazon.com/Schlage-Connect-BE469NX-Touchscreen-Deadbolt/dp/B00AGK9KOG/ref=sr_1_2?s=hardware&ie=UTF8&qid=1479481619&sr=1-2&keywords=schlage+keyless+lock

As for switches, I tend to prefer the Leviton ones as they are the cleanest looking, don't have obnoxious lights (like the GE ones) and are reasonably priced. I only have one Caseta switch, and while it works fine, I just don't know that I care for the style. (On a side note, the Caseta remotes can work for any Wink device if you set up shortcuts for the various buttons). The annoying thing with the GE switches is that you have to push up to turn it on and down to turn it off. While I know that sounds like a silly complaint since physical switches work that way, it's something you have to think about since it doesn't stay up or down, and instead is always in the middle. I have the same complaint with the separate buttons on the Caseta switches. This is another reason why I like the Leviton ones. Only one button which simply toggles the state.

Finally, all the Z-Wave switches work independently of the hub and will ALWAYS respond to your physical commands immediately, regardless of hub or no hub. They are always a physical switch first and remote second.

Do you mean a duplex single-pole switch? If so, Leviton made one in their Vizia line a while back, but I don't think they do anymore. Your best bet would be to either replace the single gang workbox with a double gang workbox, so you can put two z-wave switches side-by-side. Alternatively, you can place one of these in the workbox behind the duplex switch:

If you have a 3 wire ran from the switch to the fan (white, black, red, ground) you can do some variation of what I did for my Fan/Light rooms.

This for the light control. Also This if you want it to match with the fan switch.

This for the fan control.

If you only have a 2 wire ran from the fan/light to the switch then you would have to do something more along the lines of what u/caddymac suggested.

Hope this helps and if you have anymore questions let us know.

Enerwave ZWN-RSM2 http://amzn.com/B00JWVNH4Y. Works by adding zwave light switch. It also appears that the dual switch works as well, as two switches appear in my Wink app. I didn't have a chance to attach a load to both switches, but I was able to hear the device clicking the contacts inside it for either switch.

Aeon Labs Micro Smart Energy Switch http://amzn.com/B008VWBNAU Like the plug in switch, it works but does not show energy usage.

I can confirm that the Z-Wave GE 45603 plug-in appliance module works with the Wink hub.

I have on/off control, but the on/off status is not reflected correctly in the app.

I paired it with the Wink hub not using the "Add a product" function, but rather by selecting the Hub from the Home screen, then by hitting the "..." button in the top right, then "<my hub name>", then "Z-Wave Controls", then "INCLUSION MODE", then I hit the physical button on the front of the plug-in module and then got a green light on the hub to indicate successful pairing.

I've started using these and have been very impressed with how well they work. They're also completely hidden which is nice.

I can't speak to the Kwikset ones but, I have this one and have been really happy with it.

I've had pretty decent luck with Chamberlain MyQ connected to my existing garage door opener. Here's the link to the one I have. Once in a while the sensor on the door flakes out and thinks it didn't close/open but it's easily fixed by clicking the reset sync switch.

Thanks! That sucks. I see that Leviton makes a dual switch that seems to work with Wink, the VRCS2-MRZ, but it's old (might even be discontinued), quite expensive, and is rated pretty poorly.

Happen to know if there are any other options?

u/aaiyar · 3 pointsr/winkhub

Doesn't exist. But if your load for each receptacle will be less than 10A, then you can easily make one using a regular receptacle wired through an [Enerwave dual z-wave relay] (http://www.amazon.com/Enerwave-ZWN-RSM2-Z-Wave-Convert-Enabled/dp/B00JWVNH4Y) - Amazon link.

I've uploaded a simple wiring diagram to Imgur. Everything fits easily inside a single-gang box. The only thing to bear in mind is these outlets are restricted to a 10A load each.

Also I'm guessing something like this would partially solve your problem: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008VWAPU4/

The Relay could link up to two of your switches and the micro switch to the third.

Of course the problem with any of these solutions is that you will only end up with two, physical switches. Whichever switch you do not connect to the relay should be something you don't mind activating primarily through the Relay touchscreen, your phone app, or, better yet, schedules and robots.

I bought [this one](GoControl CECOMINOD016164 HUSBZB-1 USB Hub https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GJ826F8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5egTDb99SJWGA), the reviews were ok and it's cheap, will see what I get into tomorrow when it is delivered.

I second the Intermatic 3750 that was recommended earlier. Here's another option that hasn't been mentioned earlier - the ELK 9200 relay (Amazon Link). The ELK 9200 can control (simultaneously, not independently) two 240V appliances. Basically, all it is just a 60A, 240V relay with a 120V coil. The coil voltage can be controlled by the home automation system of your choice - ZigBee, Z-wave, Insteon, WiFi etc. I use two of these with Leviton z-wave outlets.

If a convenient 120V outlet is not available near your 240V pool appliances, then you could consider the Electric Water Heater Controller Kit (240V) (Amazon Link). Although it is shown with a Belkin switch, the manufacturer will make one with the switch of your choice - including a Z-wave or ZigBee switch.

I just installed mine last night, you need the my q internet gateway, not all openers come with it, but the serial number is on the bottom of the gateway. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B7CDSQ8/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1479230823&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=myq

Maybe you need this: http://amzn.com/B000VYJW3G and don't give the wife a key

I use the Dome siren, which Wink recognizes and lets you alter volume, ring pattern, etc:

https://www.amazon.com/Dome-Automation-DMS01-Wireless-Battery-Powered/dp/B01M1NLPKZ

u/AviN456 · 1 pointr/winkhub

Does this allow it to work as a dimmer, or just as a binary switch?

The Amazon page says it's NOT WINK compatible

u/neonturbo · 1 pointr/winkhub

I didn't see anything either with a quick look.

Not sure if this would fit into your outlet box, but there are "contact modules" that are 20A. You probably would have to have a double gang box with a blanking plate over the controller.

This looks similar to what I am thinking you would do. https://community.smartthings.com/t/garage-zwave-relay-switch/1176

This is a slim as it gets:

Only concern is the "claimed" 10 year battery life, if this thing dies after 2 years then its a terrible value...
