What's wrong with your link?

https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Monitors/BenQ-GW2765HT-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485604023&sr=8-1&keywords=BenQ+GW2765HT+LED

Also where can you see it is 144Hz?

"BenQ's GW2765HT features a 27″ IPS panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, adhering to the WQHD standard. The refresh rate is capped at 60hz."

Obviously, you can ignore the 144hz options, unless they fall within your budget. But I'd go top to bottom and price check and take the best one within your budget.

[Another Good Source] (http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-27-inch-monitor/) - less technical, more average user oriented.

Based on those two, I'd go in this order based on my personal preferences:

  1. [Dell U2715H] (https://www.amazon.de/Dell-U2715H-Monitor-Reaktionszeit-schwarz/dp/B00PRCRWRU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483308124&sr=8-1&keywords=dell+u2715)
  2. [BenQ GW2765HT] (https://www.amazon.de/BenQ-GW2765HT-Monitor-Aufl%C3%B6sung-Reaktionszeit/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483308208&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+gw2765ht)
  3. [LG 27MB85R] (https://www.amazon.de/LG-27MB85R-B-27Zoll-2-560x1-440-AH-IPS/dp/B00II5PWR0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483308172&sr=8-1&keywords=lg+27mb85r)

The LG is likely the best or 2nd best in image quality, but it falls just outside of your budget so I placed it 3rd.

Best of luck and I hope that this helps.

I used this desk with this add on unit with this monitor

lots of people on this sub have the ROG swift. it's a 1440p monitor that is also 144hz http://www.amazon.co.uk/PG278Q-Widescreen-Monitor-2560x1440-NVIDIA/dp/B00LBZLIXG I've heard it's great but it's a bit on the expensive side. with a gtx 980 I recommend getting a 1440p monitor such as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-LED--inch-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1427541848&sr=1-2&keywords=1440p+monitor as it's still 1440p and is quite cheap

Found this monitor for you.

Wouldn't bother with ultrawide, not enough games support it

I've owned that monitor and it's definitely eyecandy but gaming on it is fucking annoying

I returned it and got this https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG

But it's a bit pricier than usual, I'd definitely say if you're going for aesthetics, get a 1440p IPS screen, they look absolutely amazing and it's definitely the best monitor I've owned, just don't bother with ultrawide

u/Snuj · 1 pointr/wow
u/WingDing92 · 1 pointr/Monitors

Yeah I have seen theman think they look awesome. Do you have any opinions on the ultra wide displays? I really love the look of them but I fear they are out of my price range at 1440p and 1080p would just be overkill for my gtx1080.

What are your thoughts on this one

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00M913DVG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

It is literally hundreds of pounds cheaper than the dell but I fear there must be something bad about the model for this to be the case

I've been looking around for similar monitors, I'd like any feedback on this one

Thanks again for your help. I am amending my basket now with the new items. I am just really concerned that 27' will be too close to me. I have a 32' and if I was using that it would be really bad. Here is the 27' option https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_4?m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1479750252&sr=1-4&keywords=1440p+monitor
Will 24' really be that bad do you think? I will put films etc on my larger 32' but for day to day usage I am worried about eye straining or having to move head constantly. The monitor will be at arms length away from me

BenQ GW2765HT

Using this currently. Had it since Sunday, but not had a problem until about an hour ago.

u/JiberybobX · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Ah my bad, I linked the wrong one, I meant to post this one.

Fixed now.

u/Crimson_Ridley · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

This is one I have been looking at for a little while, but I don't know if it's 60Hz or 144Hz - http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-LED-inch-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG

Also, if it sucks, this proves that I'm not good at this!

u/I-Made-You-Read-This · 1 pointr/HardwareSwapUK

I'm actually also on the lookout for a 1440p 144Hz monitor, but can't find anything.

I know that 27" 1440p 60Hz monitors go for about 300 or a bit more.. I guess it depends where you buy from too!

This 27" 165Hz 1440p monitor is like 700 which is kinda ridiculous.. I think that 144Hz monitors are about 500-600 but I can't really find any on Amazon, but surely there might be some on overclockers uk and other retailers...

Used would of course be less costly, and I think it's safe to buy a monitor used too (unlike harddrives or usb sticks for e.g.) it's not like they wear much like a case fan I suppose.

u/collatz_conjecture · 1 pointr/battlestations

Sure thing.

The left monitor is a Dell UltraSharp U2713HM 27 inch.

The right monitor is a BenQ GW2765HT LED IPS 27

These two are conected to the iMac via Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables.

The iMac (and also Macbook Pros, I think) supports up to two external displays over thunderbolt. I believe it could handle up to two 4k displays on top of its 5k screen.

To get the extra two monitors, I'm using two of these Startech USB to DVI adapters (they use the DisplayLink Mac drivers). If you want to go down this route, make sure you do a little googling around first. They work really well - but make sure you:

  • Get a USB3 adapter, not a USB2 one.
  • Have a supported version of the OS - DisplayLink drivers tend to lag behind the latest OSX updates. AFIAK you can run the latest OS at the moment, but every time Apple updates OSX you need to wait for DisplayLink to release an update before upgrading if you want your monitors to work.
  • Check your CPU can handle it - these bypass the graphics card, which is why it works, and the load is put onto your CPU instead. For reference, my not very powerful Macbook air can run one external USB display fine, but two causes it to start to lag a little.

I've not had any big issues running the displays on Windows - it tends to handle it all pretty well. Windows always has been great at that. I for a little while had Windows 8 crash on me whenever all two of the external thunderbolt monitors were connected to it because of the AMD drivers being buggy, but that seems to be fine now.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Do you think this would be a good monitor: BenQ GW2765HT LED IPS 27 inch Widescreen Multimedia Monitor (16:9 2560 x 1440, 1000:1, 20M:1, 4 ms GTG, DVI/DP1.2/HDMI1.4 and Speakers) -- https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1480413993&sr=8-2&keywords=144hz+1440p

It's currently at £229.

Edit: nvm. I see that it's only 60hz.

u/PalettiSpaghetti · 1 pointr/TekSyndicate

:D Good to hear, I ended up finging a bargain just now on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-LED--inch-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418607720&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=beng+1440p

I checked the review on TFT central whom I trust a fair bit and decided that this BenQ is a absolute steal "got it discounted to £280" if I take into account a korean monitor at £240 the import VAT in the uk would make it more like £290 anyways. response times are basically the same as the QNIX but its got a better stand and matte finish. I don't care too much personally about overclocking 60hz is all I care for :D I'm buying from the UK so I have more confidence although I kinda despise Amazon. anyways I still plan on grabbing a QNIX in the future for a second monitor.

u/murshed77 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I'd recommend this BenQ 27" 1440p IPS. Slightly over budget, but you can't get anything decent for less.

I'm using it as my primary display and I game @1440p on this with no issues. I play FPS, TPS, footy and occasionally racing games too.

u/bobcobble · 1 pointr/buildapcforme

This looks decent. It's 1440p, IPS and 27". Looks great for the money.

u/jmkni · 1 pointr/buildapc
u/omegashadow · 1 pointr/buildapc

https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG is not the best (1 frame input lag) but the cheapest 1440p IPS at 27". if you are willing to go smaller.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/DELL-U2515H-ADZG-25-Inch-Monitor/dp/B00P6O3YYO

It's a better screen than the benq (low input lag) and cheaper but also small. This one is within your budget.

u/Chunkyfunk01 · 1 pointr/buildapc

Okay great, thanks.

Sorry if this is an odd question or scenario, but i am not particular knowledgeable with this kind of stuff...

In theory, could i buy something like this BenQ monitor, run it at 1920x1080 @ 144hz while on the 970, and then increase the resolution to the full 2560x1440 @ 144hz once i'm in possession of a 1070 later on down the year? Is that weird? x)

If you're looking for a gaming rig then follow other peoples suggestions and look for a 1080p 120/144 Hz, only drawback is a TN panel.

u/Bulletti · 1 pointr/buildapcforme

Not necessarily. Exhibit A, Exhibit B

That leaves us with 600 to 650 pounds, which oughta be enough.

You could get 1440p for cheaper but we decide to pick 1440p monitors 27 inch and above due to poor windows text scaling.

u/BinThereRedThat · 1 pointr/PS4

I used to play cod on my TV, used to do fairly well and i'm not really a terrible player. Once I switched to my monitor instead my KD shot up almost instantly. I'm not saying its directly related but i just seemed to win more gun fights on average. However it also could have been because i sit much closer.

the one i use is https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464458729&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+gw2765ht

it's 1440p but it doubles up as my PC monitor so that's why. I'd recommend the 1080p one to save money, but i'm not sure if that's IPS too, and for me IPS looks much better than VA or TN panels. I can't seem to find the model number for the 1080p one.

u/SharkyH2O · 1 pointr/buildapc

This is the monitor I'm thinking of settling on.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GW2765HT-inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B00M913DVG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1466499093&sr=8-2&keywords=1440p+monitor+144hz

Not sure it'd be worth springing an extra few 100 quid for a higher refresh rate.
