Have you tried foam tips? The Comply foam tips are superior IMO due to the wax guard you can get built in, but they deteroriate on me rapidly as I use them as hearing protection at work as well. They reduce loud noises by about 30 db or more it seems which is enough for what I do. I recommend these if wax guards are not necessary. I think they may be a bit sturdier too, while being very soft.

probably not what you are looking for, but I had a problem with in-ears not sitting well in my ear. I have purchased these memory foam tips to replace the rubber ones the earphones come with, and the difference in audio quality is night and day, everything just sounds better. I use cheapo bluetooth headphones because I lose them too often to get a nice pair. I recommend the foam tips, not the headphones per say, they are just all right.

I absolutely love these tips for my T2. I think they're called newbee tips but they don't say that on the amazon page. So comfy and they've lasted me months.

u/thewrathstorm · 3 pointsr/headphones

I use the Newbee tips they sell on amazon for 5-7mm headphones. Worth giving a shot if you can find them in stock.

Awesome! If you end up liking the foams included with the, I got these foam tips:

You could try these and see which ones fit you best: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Z6J3XL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use them on my various Chi-Fi IEMs and both mid and large fit me nicely. For me at least foam tips is the only way to enjoy IEMs because it is really difficult getting the right fit.

If it's especially difficult to ignore him, like his voice grates after a while and you just can't tune it out, you could always get some IEMs to help. You can get some cheap ones on Amazon and pair with foam eartips to really block out excess sound. I have these replacement tips for my in-earphones to give you an idea. I use them at work at the end of the night when we're cleaning the kitchen (the clanging metal, fans without vents, and power washers get very annoying) and I can barely hear someone unless they are practically in my face speaking.

I've been using these ear bud style ones.

I also bought these replacement foam tips. They're not neccessary but I like having a choice in size and the foam blocks out more sound.

I don't like over the ear headphones so these were a really good purchase for me. When the ANC(active noice cancelling) feature is active it's insane. I use them while I grocery shop and I can't hear a single thing. With ANC they don't just block sound with a physical barrier. The way I understand it is it detects the sound frequencies around you and generates frequencies to cancel them out. It's like black magic lol.

I bought a set of these off Amazon for $6.99 and I just keep them in good condition. I actually had only been using one pair from this particular set and I had no issues; I cleaned them after every listening session. Right now though I'm actually using the foam tips that came included with the IO.

They're not silicon (they're memory foam, which I personally prefer), but I use these for my ZS6's and love them.

Ninja edit: Looks like they have different options, actually. The first 3 colors come with 3 pairs (S/M/L) of silicon tips and 3 pairs (S/M/L) of memory foam.

Nee Bee Tips are great. They're cheap enough to get both and try them out.

  • Silicone

  • Foam

There are SpinFit Tips as well as Final Audio E series Tips. They're all pretty good.

These are what I got. Had to cut the foam tips to fit but they work well as a temporary fix

u/syst3x · 1 pointr/HeadphoneAdvice

I use these and have found the middle size to be a touch smaller than the stock blue foamies.

u/Supercharged_Z06 · 1 pointr/HeadphoneAdvice

Yup, Dekoni are nice foam tips - be sure to get the larger diameter Mercury Series (4.9mm) tips.

Another option are the "New bee" foam tips which work well.

And premium price foam tips (but to me aren't any better subjectively than the others) are the Comply 500 series.

Something like these (no affiliate link): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071Z6J3XL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qebBDbPX825KX

You can also try searching for "foam eartips" on either Amazon or eBay and you'll find several alternatives to the more expensive Comply foams. Or go for Complys. Just be sure the bore is wide enough to match that of your earphones.

If you're losing low end, you don't have a proper seal is all. Consider going one size up in eartip size.

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered these tips from amazon since they were cheap and had good reviews. Will these work or should I cancel?
