I’d advise using Automatic Ripping Machine for this sort of high volume stuff. I’d also recommend setting up perfect log ripping (https://captainrookie.com/how-to-setup-exact-audio-copy-for-flac-ripping/), and I’m confident there’s a similar guide for a Mac equivalent, though I’m leaving this as a placeholder until I dig up the resources I’m referring to. You can also pick up an Acronova high volume machine (https://www.amazon.com/d/Computer-Optical-Drives/Acronova-Nimbie-USB-AutoLoader-NB21-DVD/B00HQOOQCG) if you’re lazy and have bundles of cash sitting around. I think it would be better money spent to get a unit like this or approach someone like Iron Mountain to take a crack at it. I'm sure there are other devices like this or better out there but my google fu is failing this morning.
You can get CD/DVD autoloaders that take a significant number of discs and help automate the process. A 30 second google found this with a 100 disc capacity- I am sure there are cheaper and larger options available.
