Yeah, I agree that quick charge means nothing to our devices. I'm going to order a very short 5v/3a USB type-c - type-c tonight (found it on amazon). I'll let you know how it charges the phone. It'll definitely not do real supercharge seeing that neither the power bank or the cable does 5A.

Hm... I suppose I could go ahead with the Anker one then
Are there any recommended USB-C cables or brand that would work best?
I’ve been looking but somewhat hard to tell what I’m looking for specifically
I mean there’s the Amazon brand one, but not sure if that would suffice or not
AmazonBasics USB-C to USB-C cable
So far I haven’t had an easy time finding non-braided ones that would suffice...
If the Anker's mounted to the back of the headstrap, then I used 2 90 degree adapters, along with a 12" usb-c extension. 1 of the 90 degree adapters connects to the usb port of the Quest, then the other 90 degree adapter connects to the Anker, with the 12" extension connecting in between. The 90 degree adapter also works with the 10' Anker cable for Link.

The stock cable didn't work for me. I had to use a different usb c cable to get it to work.
Oh, sorry, I misread your post.
Amazon basics makes a USB C to C cable, but the smallest size they have is 6 inches.
AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB Type-C 2.0 Cable - 6 Inches (15.2 Centimeters) - Black $6.49
Anker is who I got my 4 inch usb cables from (I use them to attach my phone to my portable charger), but they don’t seem to make anything shorter than 3 ft for their C to C cables.
For what it’s worth, I do have a 3 ft cable for my Switch, and I can’t see anything much shorter than 1 ft working with the portable charger without it being awkward, but my portable charger is fairly large and not exactly lightweight.
I took a photo of my phone and my Switch plugged in to the charger. The phone is using a 4 inch cable and the Switch is using 3 ft cable.
Also, the measurement includes the connectors - on the 4 inch, the cable itself is actually only 1.25 inches long.
6inch ones are the smallest I see on amazon US
