That's EVA foam and not real rubber.It's EVA foam with a thin rubber topping. Nice for a stretching area, not so great for a deadlift area.You can get

They look like they're cheaper and easier to install and I can get them delivered right to my house without the famous smell I've heard so much about.
Is there any downside to these mats?
I'm also thinking of getting some wide vinyl tape to hold the seems together.
