You csn still be in to action figures and have decent quality stuff. If you're ever looking to upgrade I recommend S.H. figuarts they very articulate, high quality and look badass.
They're pretty pricey but if you're really into actual action figures they're worth it.

I have a bias towards the SH Figuarts Android 18, but I think a more conventional option is the Awakening Goku.
