Depends on the condition and version, special editions will add to the value I know there's the 200th US Anniversary Edition and a 50th Anniversary Commemorative, there are probably others.

The Blue Book is really the secret to buying used guns, follow it and you'll know a good deal when you see it.

Check this youtube video on buying a used revolver, if you find one and the seller won't let you examine it this closely, thank him for his time and walk away. A revolver in disrepair can be extremely dangerous, if the cylinder isn't 100% true to the barrel you can actually fire the bullet into the frame resulting in a very bad day.

These guns are fairly uncommon to see anywhere, remember they were last produced in 1988. You know what they're worth, you know what you want, just keep your eye open for one, you'll find it eventually. If you find one marked higher than blue book you've got a good start for negotiation, "Hey dealer, I see you have this Stainless Security Six marked for $400, it has some wear on it, the Blue Book Value lists them for $400 in 100% condition, would you be willing to go lower on it?"
