For your space, If you blow directly into it, I would purchase a 4" diameter blower fan and carbon cannister filter. Also, I would reverse the fan direction and have it blow into the filter, and then you blow right into the fan intake and keep it near your rig, cannister on the floor and fan on top.

Something like

Edit: Also, a timer like the ones used for hot tub bubbles would be great to keep the fan going 1-2 minutes after you exit the room, removing any residuals from the air.

Mine was running at night and waking me up for awhile, but I was able to find the leak and fix it. I don't know how often it would run if I never used it now, but I'm guessing once or twice a month. I was also paranoid that a hose or fitting would fail while I was out and the thing would run 24/7 until the motor burned out or burned my house down or something. One day I was outside setting the timer for my sprinkler and thought, "There's got to be one of these things for electrical as well." Sure enough, there is:

So now I just twist that thing and for 12 hours the compressor has power and I don't have to remember to turn it off. I bet you could find something similar for 220 if you have a bigger compressor.
