I am very confused about it, while I love sleek and mature styles (my current watch is the Buloval BVA Dual Aperture ) but I feel like the time isn't supposed to be a dress watch, its an every day, namely as it states in the video "Sports Watch" and I love that. I'm excited for it to be here before Summer, it looks like its going to be the perfect watch for that. I hate wearing my Bulova during the summer, as I want to be able to hike, swim, whatever and I feel like that watch just doesn't pair well with it (and I don't want to scratch it, etc).
Maybe I have a bias as I feel sports gear is always a bit more "childish" than most people like, but I am excited that its got a more relaxed style to it. That being said, to each their own.
Firstly, that watch you linked to has Dual Time in its name, which is kind of misleading. I can assume that they mean it is dual time in the sense of the hands and the day-night indicator showing the time, but it is the exact same time, not dual time which would imply two different times. Is that a feature you want? In which case that will severely limit choices.Nope, it does have a second time zone at the 6 o'clock. Thanks /u/oldaccount!Anyways, I see that you are rather set on a skeleton watch and three brands I would suggest that may have something you want:
Hopefully those may be close to what you want and they are brands that people here consider to be better quality.
Cant think of anything sub 200 right now, but bulova has a similar watch in the 250-280 range depending on dial color. Here is the white dial and the black and gray dial. They have a few more dial colors but no blue dial if thats what you wanted
No fancy names here lol. 96A118

I can't believe how much the price has come down, I paid twice that 4 years ago. It's an incredible watch at that price point
Open heart is the best way to go. Full skeletons on a budget will either be ultimately disappointing.
I've been eyeing a couple open heart Bulova's here:

(You can get a different strap for this pretty easily)
Went window shopping over the weekend, people watching mostly. Saw this at Macy's. I really like the style, if they had the white/blue I might have bought it. Instead the wife got a bracelet. You could probably get the crystal replaced with sapphire for not too much.
I have that bulova in two colors and really enjoy it. I would get the one with the metal band if I were you though.
I have the Bulova 96a118, which is well under $1000 and is a very similar aesthetic.

These initially were $450ish from authorized distributors, but I think they made a lot more of them than they should have, which drove the price down. Also, they went through a rebranding, so some have the tuning fork, and some don't.
Quality wise I think they're pretty solid, and you can sometimes still find them on sale at Macy's, Kohl's, or Kay Jewelers to try it on.
