I wanted MOAR POWAHH so I set mine up with a hefty power bank and I've been using this for about a month or so.
Cable, 26800 mAh Power Bank, and velcro straps for fastening the power bank.
It works well as a counterbalance, although it is a bit heavy on the backend. While it's noticeable I've become mostly used to it. The only thing I don't like is that the flat backing of the power bank sometimes rests uncomfortable on the back of my head. I just need to throw some sponges back there to give it a little space. The nice part is I only need to charge my Quest every few days if at all; if the power bank dies I'll just recharge it overnight and it'll power the Quest without any issues for a minimum 8+ hours of playtime.

I just take something like this and drill it into the desk with a screw. Adhesives weren't holding it for me so I needed another solution.

An anti-static band isn't a bad idea, especially with the weather getting colder and drier, but if you remember to touch a grounded object every now and then while building your PC and don't shuffle your feet around on carpet too much, you can easily get by without one.
