I recently picked up a pair of non-aero hoods, and they made a huge difference in terms of comfort when my hands are up there.
These will fit them just fine
Although I'd suggest getting better brake handles. I got some Shimano 600 drilled off eBay for $15 in pristine condition, but that was blind luck because other auctions had them selling for $50+, Now I see them for $130.
There are also retro looking modern handles that are supposed to work really really well and aren't terribly expensive . It's a worthwhile upgrade.

Remember to get the non-aero type (where the cable exists the lever from the top), since that's what fits your levers.
