Well.... here's some great mice for under your $50 minimum. The Logitech 300 series (300, 302, 303) are all 20-40 and are my personal recommendation if you're on a budget.

Marty Marty!

This is the mouse I use, if you're looking for a recommendation~ It's not perfect, but I like mine pretty well. It's not super expensive either~

Corsair makes pretty good stuff in my experience with them. My computer is made up of a couple of their parts too :3

It's $40 new on Amazon right now, and camelcamelcamel shows it normally sells for $50 but often drops to $40.

Recently got this mouse: Corsair Gaming Sabre

  • It has a textured mouse wheel that's great for clicking and scrolling. (Not good for super fast scrolling, it's textured and has resistance.)
  • Has 8 programmable buttons = Efficiency

    However

  • The bottom grips are smoothed, so the mouse might get caught in your carpet.

Are you using a mousepad? The bottom grips are pretty thin.

In your price range, I present the Corsair Sabre. I have one on my competition rig and I liked it so much that I have one on all of my computers now. The braided cable does not suck on any of them, probably because Corsair makes quality products. It's equally good at video/audio mastering, and is awesome at administering remote server environments (switching from 4k to who knows what resolution ) because of the DPI adjustment buttons, which you can can easily customize the sensitivity of. I like being able to zoom in with a scope and switch to less sensitive in Fortnight.

It's an Amazon Choice on Amazon and you can get 3/4 year protection for 1.04/1.21

In my opinion (I'm probably quite biased), I like Corsair for basic, reliable RGB products.

Keyboard - K65 (tenkeyless) and K70 (tenkey)

Mouse - I personally use the Corsair Sabre, but it is really up to personal preference (buttons, etc)

Mouse Pad - I use the SteelSeries QcK, but that's only cus I grabbed it off Amazon because it was cheap and had good reviews. It is a decently big mousepad (~30x~25cm)

“Corsair Components, Inc. is an American computer peripherals and hardware company headquartered in Fremont, California.”

Strafe and Sabre is a good combo if you don’t want to spend too much, but at the same time having a good experience for the money. Get a non RGB strafe if you don’t care about colors.

Here's a few choices.

Mionix Castor

Generally regarded as the best mouse in terms of quality, great for FPS (as it's light), although only has 2 additional buttons. That, combined with a flawless sensor and a nice look.

Corsair M65 Pro

From what I've heard it's solid but it's a little small, great sensor, overall nice looking.

Corsair Sabre

Cheap, flawless sensor, comfortable (a little small) and has 5 additional buttons.

Zowie ZA13

From what I've heard it's a great, basic mouse, a little pricey for so few features though.

There's also the G502, I don't really like it solely due to the weight, the RGB model is slightly lighter but IMO it's too heavy for relatively low DPI.

I am currently rocking a very basic Corsair Katar mouse. It doesn't have those extra programmable buttons or an extremely ergonamic deisgn, but it gets the job done and has a really nice DPI range, a lot better then the Microsoft mouse I was using for the past year.

Here is a Corsair m65 mouse designed for FPS gaming, in comparison to the Scimitar which is meant for MOBAs/MMOs. I would also suggest the Corsair Sabre if you don't like the design of the m65.

I would recommend this mouse from Corsair, have been using it since December, and it's a joy to use.

I have used around 3 of there keyboards of different types and two of their mouses all have been perfect for two plus year. I am switching to these.
