If Amazon ever puts the head strap back on sale for $9.99 you should get a couple of them. Why? Because you can remove the mounting plate from the straps without cutting them. This is important because it means you can make a chest strap for about $10-15, depending how fat you are. I haven't done it yet because I just figured this out the other day and am still working out the details.

You can buy 10yds of 1.5" nylon webbing with 30 matching sized buckles for $17 along with a ten pack of 1.5" triglides for $7. Snip and sew, and you've got a chest harness.

The one thing I'm working out is the chesty they sell has two straps attached to the mounting plate that go over your shoulders to a three point to stabilize it from bouncing. Since the head strap's plate only has the one strap slot I was thinking of putting the three point up front. I'm not sure if this will be uncomfortable or not, or get in the way of zippers and the like. Thoughts?

For pants you are going to need navy cargo pants which can be picked up from amazon or your local army surplus store. Your best bet for the shirt would be under armor or similar compression shirt. A rock climbing harness can be expensive and now look like you want it to, I would suggest leaving it out (you will be more comfortable walking around, trust me) or getting some nylon webbing and making your own. Good luck with your gender bent Leon!
