I'd recommend buying any cheap jump rope to start so you can learn how to jump properly. (not sure your experience level based off this post)

Then, when you're comfortable, I'd consider this set. $88 but well worth the $$. I've had mine for close to a year now...I use it every workout (I'm in the gym 6-7 days a week) and it's still in great condition. Because of its ball-bearings system, it's got the smoothest jump.
