Someone smart someday will put the plug on the side and have it come with a usb c cord with the plug 90 degrees from the cord so it plugs in and hangs down the side as to alleviate any torque on the outlet in the phone. maybe put a small grove down the side also that the cord might snap into so if its in a holder it holds both the cord and phone together.
Something kind of like this except lower profile.
