Seems a bit pricey.

While it isn't in stock right now this was 500 not to long ago

For those who are curious:

this was my original PC, my re-entry into the MR about a year and a half ago.

originally was a FX 6300 with a really lowend motherboard, a 1060 and no Cooling. The exhaust fan went out within one week. Now it's the specs in title with an nh-d15 cpu cooler. Im upgrading to 850w also with the move, Im teetering right now on my power limit but with no issues. Im sure the 200mm fans will put it over.

I still manage to push the i7 to 4.8mhz at ~72c and the 1080 ti is pushing 2050hz (1728 base) and 11610mhz memory

I will post pictures of the full job when I'm done.

I would recommend something more like this. It's a much better deal IMO and would be much better for Blender. The computer you chose doesn't have a video card, and video cards are generally faster for rendering if you set the tile sizes right.

The GUA4500A is actually a very good deal for the $$ and once you don't want to go over $1000, then that's a good pick.

Thank you for breaking it down. I'm still pretty new at this. Hopefully last question.

Looks like the main difference is fx-6300 vs Ryzen and 16gb ddr3 vs 8gb ddr4.
Is Ryzen worth the difference between the two?

The PC I'm getting has a amd 760g/sb710 chipset mobo, probably the most limited part of the build, considering it's top cpu is amd fx 8730 iirc. Would this be easy to upgrade in the future with along with a i5-7600k or something of that nature? Here is the prebuilt I'm buying. Yeah yeah build your own.

Wondering about, when I do upgrade, if a new motherboard capable of supporting higher end i5/i7 cpu's is feasible. Thanks in advance, you guys are super helpful.
