I always use Dandies Vegan Marshmallows. They. Are. Expensive. So I only use them for special occasions.

I live in the Chicagoland area, and when I first went vegan two years ago, I could only get these at Whole Foods or health food stores. But more stores around here are selling more vegan things, so now I can get these at a store like Target.

I've had vegan marshmallows from the store. My boyfriend and I buy Dandies because they are readily available at our local Whole Foods and pretty good. Sweet&Sara is another.

These marshmallows are really close to the ones with gelatin in them, just don't try making rice crispy squares with these (they don't melt the same).
