Actually here is the bad part. The plastics Nissan / Toyota were getting at the time have this issue of the dash's melting/cracking. It took forever for even Lexus to acknowledge the problem (the only did so after larger class action lawsuits for pay out) . So here comes the bad part, the wait time to get the dash replaced is LONG. I have been on a list for about 4 years now and I believe every year I have moved about 5 places on the list so even if they did say they would replace it, you probably wouldnt own that car anymore by the time they get to servicing it.
