If you play on using cheats for NDS games on a 3DS, you'll need this instead https://www.amazon.com/Datel-Action-Replay-System-3DS-Nintendo/dp/B005NJVQ60

(This only works for NDS games! No 3DS games!)

The one you linked only works for 3DS games, but not for NDS games.
