Will I have to get a new powersave device?
It's depended on your product. There are still 2 old products out there Action Replay Powersaves and Action Replay Power Play Pokemon . If you got one of this, you have to update to pro for new games. But if you have Action Replay Power Saves Pro, you only need the point for early access.
You don't need points, but without power points you have to wait before you can use codes for a new game.
