Joe Kelly's Run

Cable and Deadpool

If you like a wackier Deadpool then Daniel Way's Run (1of4)

Remender's Uncanny X-Force

For an Alternate Universe Deadpool but a great read check out Killology by Cullen Bunn Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Deadpool Killustrated, Deadpool Kills Deadpool.

Happy birthday! Here's your card. :)

I'm trying to get into graphic novels, and I would love this volume! Although if price really isn't a question, then this collection would definitely put a goofy smile on my face.

For TMNT you should start at IDW's most recent series. They release ultimate collections for the old stuff but the newest series is probably my favorite comic being released. They're close to issue 30 now I believe. Maybe even past it. Here is Vol 1 on Amazon.

I was a big fan of Daniel Way's Deadpool run (a lot of people here were not). They have starting releasing complete collection trade paperbacks for the run. There are currently two volumes available. Here is Vol 1 of the Complete Collection

Marvel is better by default because all DC has is Batman. None of their other characters are any good. Also, Marvel's rogues gallery looks a lot less like a bunch of promoted villains of the week.

Favorite hero is Spider-Man & favorite villain is Venom.

Item because I defy anyone to tell me that DC could have come up with the Deadpool concept.

I think I kind of want dark but I can't find Joe Kelly's anywhere. This is what I've found for Way. Would that be the place to start?

Is this the right one for Kelly? Kelly isn't listed as the main author on the search listings but he is when you click 'more' whereas he is listed as the author for Classic Vol. 2.

Well Daniel Way was the main writer on the game, so you could pick up the last Deadpool series(Deadpool volume 3 [2008-2012]) to get more of that flavor Deadpool. Apparently they're re-releasing the graphic novels of it starting next week. http://www.amazon.com/Deadpool-Daniel-Way-Complete-Collection/dp/0785185321/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1376103459&sr=8-5&keywords=deadpool

Deadpool Classic Volume 1 may be the best place to start since it has the first appearance of Deadpool and 2 awesome 4 part mini-series that take place before his first true solo run. This collection also has the first issue of his solo run from 1997, which is his first "true" solo run.

Next is the Joe Kelly solo run which is a really strong little ditty. I quite liked it. I want to say it's 33 issues, which takes us to the millennium.

I'm not sure what takes place here, from 2000ish to 2004ish, and I want to know. I want to read all of the Deadpool stuff, because he is my favorite solo character, and since he's been around for just over 20 years, I might be able to read it all in a small amount of time.

After that gap is what I consider to be my personal favorite, Cable & Deadpool which is very strong, poignant, and hilarious.

After that is Daniel Way and people love to jerk each other off about how bad it was. I have heard mixed reviews, some say it starts good and putters, others say it's a Flanderization of Deadpool. I haven't read it, but I plan to.

Then you got the Duggan and Posehn run which starts here and runs up to relatively recently (I think it may have ended this year). I read the first 5 volumes over the past week and a half, and have quite enjoyed it, but I like the Kelly run and C&D run better.

I actually really liked the early books that Daniel Way did. This book is something I would still enjoy reading and I thought it was fun. It was my go-to book when I needed something lighter from all the dark and gloom of Batman books I read among other titles.

Was fortunate to pick up the second volume for cheap and was severely disappointed. I didn't care for the story line or the art.

Uncanny X-Force is good. More serious Deadpool. I really liked volume one, but I don't know how the series progresses.

I've also heard great things about Deadpool and Cable.

Oh, I also own Deadpool Team Up volume 3 which I enjoyed.

Deadpool is awesome! I just read Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and really enjoyed it! I'm currently reading Deadpool The Complete Collection Vol. 1 (not under $20). It's the first comic I've enjoyed in a long time, so I highly recommend it.
