I fell in love with DLAN, it's way better than WiFi for longer distances actually and it's just as reliable as a direct cable connection in my experience. I first used it when I had my setup on another floor than my router and now still use that I sit next door. All you need is two free outlets basically.

ISP is usually not the problem wifi is. Gaming over wifi is far too unstable I use dlan which solves the stability problem couldn't recommend it more.
