I use this diablo sport module in my 08 5.3

I love it. Eliminates AFM. I've been averaging about 18mpg, better response and keeping more consistent oil pressure.

Edit: YMMV (literally) I use all season tires with "medium-aggressive" tread, 4x2, 18mpg was result of driving 120 miles on the interstate going between 70-80 without heavy-footing the pedal.
