You dont need to keep a bunch of chargers if all your devices just had USB-C. All you would ever need is a short Type C to Type C cable. Then you could transfer between your iPad Pro, Macbook, iPhone, Pixel 3, Galaxy S10, ect. If Apple just switched to USB C, then everything could share power with everything. Small Type C trasnfer cables would be far more common and everyone would have one in their bag/pocket/car/office/ect.
