I use one of these to help prevent tendonitis. Amateur rock climber here.
Here are some products I can recommend to non climbers to improve overall hand and arm strength. My dad uses some of these to fight joint pains and he finds them useful. Also useful for carpel tunnel.

There's many others but Those two are the best general purpose ones that I can recommend.
This would be in addition to all the doctor checkin recommendations of course.
Do your hands also tremble when shaving?
If you're willing to spend $20-$40, you could look into buying a powerball. I've got one and it works pretty well

Did they provide source(s)? I'd be interested to see them.
There are also Gripmasters that let you isolate fingers, but I didn't find it as effective. I've also played with those gyroscope thingies. No noticeable difference in shooting performance, but they're fun to irritate people with while watching tv.
Let's be honest, though -- operating a pistol doesn't require that much finger dexterity. You're shooting, not painting the Mona Lisa.
Anyone use a powerball? I've been using it on off since my wrestling days and honestly I don't know if it really does anything lol.

Professional Guitarist/Guitar teacher here; I've been playing 4-8 hours a day almost every day for the last 20 years and got the same condition about 8 months ago (no changes in my technique or routine, it just happened). I got it REALLY bad last summer and had to "play through the pain" for awhile since it's how I make my living but with regular acupuncture, excercise, and paying closer attention to my health the worst of it was over in about 3 months.
