No joke, get a upright dyson vac possibly with pet hair attachment. It's so light and hides away in a closet, so that it takes 2 seconds for a quick cleanup. I speak from experience. I never really realized how much hair I left in the bathroom from trimming my beard and shaving my head. Now I use the vac and keep everything clean.

LG vacuums don't have parts support in the US .
I would go with the V8 or v7 HEPA over the V10 for handheld feel and wight. I would a non motorized floor brush for your Dyson to help with pick up on wood floor without scattering debris & scratching it.

The key is to make sure you get the one with the fluffy head:

It's amazing on smooth floors, and can pick up larger stuff (e.g. pieces of cereal) that wouldn't go under the edge of an ordinary head.
I mop semi-regularly too, but this takes care of most of my floor cleaning
