Stay hydrated so you don't end up passing out on the concert floor. There's a line between being hydrated enough to not need to use the bathroom every five seconds and being dehydrated enough to pass out that you should aim for (obviously different for everyone so just make sure you know the limits of your bladder before hand). Also wearing earplugs should definitely be thought over before going. Venue speakers can be incredibly loud and can permanently damage your hearing. Remember, your aren't immune to sound waves. The ones that people wear to concerts protect their hearing and also helps with your listening experience too so there aren't really any downsides to wearing one. You'll probably never see anyone there ever again so don't be afraid to move to the music and, like the other guy said, have fun!

Etymotic makes excellent earplugs. They dampen the loudness, while still retaining a lot of tones.
You are making the right choice by protecting your hearing. I average a concert every week for the last 20 years. I carry my earplugs everywhere.

I'm not defending the cost of those earplugs, but honestly, you're speaking a bit out of your bum.

There is a difference between headphones and earplugs. Headphones aren't necessarily designed to block out sound. This doesn't even require a big test. Put in-ear headphones in, and then try putting in foam in-ear earplugs. There's a world of difference in the noise suppression.
Secondly, depending on your helmet configuration, it may not be possible to simply cut off the stem of a set of in-ear headphones. Many earplugs are designed so that they are inserted further into your ear canal, and so there is effectively no part that extrudes from the ear. If I were to do it, it would either rip out the headphones when I put the helmet on, or it would really pull on my ear.
In terms of what people on r/MotoUK have recommended, some people have suggested the Etymotic earplugs. The "universal" version, which comes with three sizes, is £25. The version that only comes with one size is half the price.
I've not tried re-usable earplugs, as I'm still cycling through my set of foam ones.

i use these, great fit, dont dilute the sound, only complaint is that the connecting cord can sometimes get cause on stuff (backpack or hat, happens rarely but still), which may cause one side to become dislodged and fall.
for the price tho you really can go wrong, they come with a soft case so i just put them on my key ring so they dont bug me in my pockets.
Why do earplugs need such concha complications?
Why aren't you just using normal pharmacy foam earplugs?
If you want something reusable you could try music concert earplugs that reduce certain damaging sounds.

Etymotic has a "universal fit" kit that includes foam tips that are pretty similar to the standard foam ones. (They look more porous in the picture than they actually are.) Plus they're concert style earplugs that still let you hear clearly while attenuating sound levels and reducing noise.
