On my desk it was... since I have a weird L shape on the back of my desk. If you have a standard desk it comes with a clamp that you screw on and clamp up.
This is model I bought - check out the pictures it will show ya!

I use one of these and it is fantastic. Steel, low price, tons of maneuverability for the monitors.
Only aligns if the vesa mounts would keep the monitors level though, can't change height of individual monitors, only the whole thing.
I bought mine on Amazon (Link) but it's more expensive than the other website now.
Um they aren't very expensive at all I've been using this for about a year and have no issues. with 3 24" monitors.
Yes, I bolted it on. It has a clamp but the adjustment bolts stuck out too far for my adjustable steering wheel deck. (the steering wheel deck is mounted on 2 T tracks so I can easily adjust or swap out for a HOTAS deck for my flying games)
The stand is from amazon. $61.95.

I used the one below. Instead of desktop clamp I used a single lag bolt into stud. Power/Video is through the wall.

A stand that supports three monitors? Here's one. It will need to clamp onto the edge of a table, but I suspect that that's unavoidable with most stands of that sort.

Here's the one I picked up. If you have light monitors, which you do, you can't go wrong.
This arm: NEEWER Microphone Suspension... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DY1F2CS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Onto this mount: EZM Articulating Heavy-Duty... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0034PUWNS?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Personally I'd look into 3 separate arms, allows for a bit more flexibility. 3 monitor mounts can be a bit more rigid than I like.
here's a triple mount that seems ok for the price. http://www.amazon.com/Triple-PLASMA-Monitor-Desktop-002-0010/dp/B0034PUWNS?ie=UTF8&keywords=3%20monitor%20mount&qid=1463690797&ref_=sr_1_17&sr=8-17ie=UTF8&keywords=3%20monitor%20mount&qid=1463690797&ref_=sr_1_16&sr=8-16
If you look on amazon, there are some really budget ones around 55-60$. They support up to 24", however the vertical movement will be linked together, meaning if you move one monitor up, they all go up. However, tilt, swivel, and rotation are all independent on each screen, AFAIK.

I too would love to have an ergo or LX mount for each monitor, but it's just way too expensive.
