This type of fob cover makes it harder to push the button accidentally, but not impossible.
This pouch successfully shields the fob from activating the lock. I haven’t tried pushing any of the buttons on the fob while it’s inside this pouch.
You'd need to keep the key in one of these to prevent this sort of attack.
A PIN to drive would prevent them from driving away, but not from getting into the car to steal anything inside.
