Black Ops II is the best recent one, I think that'd be the wisest choice. It's $20 on Amazon right now with the first map pack, pretty good price.
My favorite CoD is still Call of Duty 4, followed by World at War but those are completely dead on consoles. CoD4 is still fairly strong on PC though.
Modern Warfare 3 and Ghosts are the worst in the series.
Are there any other recommendations you're looking for outside of shooters? As far as other games go I'd look into:

This one here I assume? I read the description and it said it's a high-definition remaster of FFX and FFX-2. Are those two different games?
