I actually use this fingertip one although mine has a smaller blade, and I got it at Joann fabrics! I definitely recommend it, gives you really good control and it’s super comfortable
Probably not totally fool-proof, but this is all I use and I love it https://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-163050-1001-Fingertip-Craft-Orange/dp/B001480O26/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?keywords=fiskars+xacto+knife&qid=1574365801&sprefix=fiskars+xa&sr=8-5
Thanks! I used this Fiskars exacto knife, and a metal ruler when I was cutting. :-) At some point, I'll probably buy the swivel version.
A steady hand and a scalpel. This seems nice, but I guess any sufficiently sharp one will do: http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-163050-1001-Fingertip-Craft-Knife/dp/B001480O26
EDIT: Iif you want small details, you could also try etching a thin metal plate or foil all the way through like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zk__CZW0Kdk
These are retail, decided to take the cage off mainly because of how bright it was. I have a rep pair of core blacks (cage still on) and the removal process would be identical. If you do decide to uncage grab this as opposed to the standard xacto knife, its a lot easier to maneuver (the last thing you want to do is accidentally cut the primeknit). Feel free to ask questions too, best of luck.
nice dude!
