There are other options though if you want more than one USB port for a mouse and keyboard for example... (Mario Paint, DOSBox, and so on)

This is what I used, which seemed to be the one most people recommended on here or on youtube. There are others with multiple USB ports. And unfortunately, they all have mixed reviews, but mine has lasted me 2 weeks so far! :)

The unpatched chd comes out to around 270mb. Space isn't really an issue for me though because I have one of these along with a 64gb flash drive hooked up to the back of the system.

I found a guide for setting up USB-Host, and it sounds like you can use a USB flash drive with an adapter on the back of the SNES Classic. The guide mentioned a left-angle OTG adapter which you can buy on Amazon. I looked at a couple stores this weekend and was surprised that these adapters seem to be hard to find at local stores. I don't mind buying one from Amazon though.

Ive checked all the cores for the games, as well as my Retroarch, with no issues there. I am having an issue where hakshi is saying my console is taking too long to reboot. It could also be my OTG connecter (im using This one) which has been mentioned in later comments

I have tried three USB drives and three OTG, and have had no luck getting USB-HOST to work. I tried both FAT32 and NTFS. Both H2CE and Hakchi-gui methods.

I get the Hakchi loading screen, and my thumb drives light up, but I never see any of the games I loaded onto the USB drives, only the original 21.

Any ideas of where I could be going wrong? Or did I really get unlucky with all these devices?

For the record, I tried an "L" OTG and two Y-cable OTG's. The thumb drives were a no-name 4GB, a Kingston 8GB "DataTraveler Locker", and a PNY 64GB model P-FD64GATT4-GE.

Thank you so much. That was extremely useful. I picked up 3 of these. Two for me and my boyfriend and extra in case one doesn't work, and two of these USBS. They will not be here until Thursday so I have a bit of a wait. In the mean time should I restore my SNES to factory settings in preparation?

You mean a "Powered" MicroUSB OTG Cable?

The OTG Cable can be powered using the original cable that was included with your NES/SNES Classic.

If you don't need multiple usb inputs just get one of the left angled usb otg (make sure it is correct angle in the picture). That's the first and only one i've got so far and it works fine. Something like this:

Get a 8bitdo controller with a 8bitdo SNES Bluetooth connection, hide the connection inside the Mini (I've done this with two of them, they fit if you take the plastic covers off them.

Power it via USB on your tv, get a left bend usb thingy https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B013ENUF0Y/ref=oh_aui_i_d_old_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so you can connect much more memory to the mini.

There you have all the retro systems you could want with loads of filters etc.
