The giant bumps will stay noticable until they are drained. You wont have a scar as long as you give a light poke at the surface with a sterile 20g piercing needle then give a gentle squeeze. Don't pick any scabs or you will expose the new skin and that will make it oxidize and darken. Let scabs fall off with time.
