You can use something like flat wire which should last a lot longer than typical wire in this application and won't have a "hump" like cord protector would have. It looks like you'll need to use the terminal blocks they sell so you can actually connect regular wire to the flat wire and to banana plugs on the ends.

Disclaimer: I've never used this stuff.

Post a drawing of your living room.

If you don't want to dig into the walls, there is speaker wire that is flat and will stick to walls.

If you have shoe molding along the floor, often possible to pull it up and run speaker wire behind. There's also flat speaker wire than be run a little more easily under area rugs: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rocketfish-50-spool-ultra-flat-speaker-wire-white/5715510.p?skuId=5715510 . And ghost wire than be run up a wall and then painted over: https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Adhesive-Speaker-Conductor-Sewell/dp/B079NTKWS2

If you don't use speaker wire and subwoofer cable, then you'll have to run a power cord to each speaker and sub. Might paint a terrible picture of that, and then maybe you might get to run speaker wire :)

Outlaw Audio makes wireless kits that can be used with speakers and subs.

I wanna give you a comparison build if you ditch wireless and go for a traditional passive speaker system. This is just an example:
