It costs $1.99 per episode, but she can buy episodes of Good Eats on Amazon. It teaches not only how to cook, but why to do it. I learned a lot from it and it taught me the basics to most everything I needed to know, as well as learning some amazing recipes. It's probably been the best resource I've found for myself as I am a very visual oriented person and find that a cook book doesn't quite do what seeing it and having it explained to me does. It not only teaches technique but also food safety and organization. Best lessons I've had other than actually cooking side-by-side with someone.
