We waited until I had more of a belly to start talking about the baby. (Figured little kids struggle to concepualize units of time past a few days anyways).

When I was full-term my son really liked youtube videos about how to care for a baby. (Helped him see what babies do.)
After she was born we let him meet her at home. Aside from saying goodnight we've been careful not to force the relationship. We're careful never to blame "the baby" for not playing with him while she has needs. Now (3months along) he's so sweet with her and has come around to her nicely at his own pace :D
