I use over under grip because that feels a lot stronger to me. Also, for heavier sets I will wear my [harbinger lifting grips](Harbinger Lifting Grips, Black, Small/Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00EDIGBGM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_MeKnybZF93X6N). I started with the wraps but I prefer the grips.

I also worked on improving my hand / grip strength. I keep these squeeze spring things [similar to these ](Sportfit Hand Grip Strengthener Set - Soft Foam Hand Exerciser for Quickly Increasing Wrist Forearm and Finger Strength - 2 Hand Grips Included https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0178B63FY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_aiKnybZZ144EY) in the car and do them while I'm waiting at stop lights.

So I have a few suggestions here.

  1. You seem to engage your back too early. 'Squat' the bar to your knees, engaging your legs ONLY. Once at the knees, pull with your lower back

  2. When you pulled with your lower back, you pulled back past the 'straight angle' (standing up completely straight) and went back so your back was at like 210^o instead of the straight angle of 180^o. Basically only pull to the straight angle, instead of going past.

  3. You will probably get a better grip and a better lift by inverting your dominant hand. For example, I am right handed so my right palm faces up when I grip the bar. Legs shoulder width, hands just outside that with inverted grip.

  4. On the subject of grip, straps may help you move more weight so your grip wont be the thing holding you back from lifting heavier. Just a thing to consider. I recommend These Harbinger grips, they are fantastic!

  5. Has nothing to do with form, its personal preference but going completely barefoot will help with traction and being really locked to the ground.

TL;DR: Use your legs more; engage back later; go to straight angle; alt grip might help; straps?

Good job on the PR though!
