As for the case, I have this one and it’s actually very nice - especially for the low price. My only complaint would be the small size, but that could actually be considered as a positive thing too. :)
Yeah, I think the official one is just a tad overpriced too.

If you want a hard shell case, I have this from Harbor Freight and it works great: https://www.harborfreight.com/2800-weatherproof-protective-case-medium-63926.html It's small enough and fits everything in it just fine. Gives my quest very good protection while I'm traveling.
