I bought a large tub of instant macaroni, they sell it at the local grocery store in a large can as emergency supplies. This was something I realized recently: you can add unflavored whey to almost anything, as an alternative to protein shakes. Cereal, ramen, mac and cheese, misc sauces for rice or pasta, etc. Any basic carb can have unflavored protein powder added to balance out the macros without really affecting the flavor. I even made my own high-protein cheese dipping sauce from milk, cheese powder (the powder in mac & cheese, from amazon) and whey powder.
